Most recent or most noteworthy athletic accomplishments: Highlights of 2004:1st place overall. Beast of the East 4-day Adventure

nace 24-hour Rogaine; 2nd place overall. Swamp Stomp 24-hour Adventure Race; 23rd Place, Adventure Racing World Championships
in NewFoundland, Canada; 24th Place, Subaru Primal Quest 10-day
Adventure Race. I have been lucky to have so many different and
amazing teammates; every one of them has been absolutely crucial
to the successes we've shared this year (Shannon Greenhill, Matt
Schaltenbrand, Brian Reiss, John Porter, Mark Cartwright, Tristen
Maginn, Kevin Tumlin, Daphne Hoyt, Jeff Lott, Liz Wattenberg, James
Holmes, Linda Sledge, Jon Barker, Paul Cox, and Kristen Brusuelas).
Favorite workout/training activity: Kayaking on the Chattahoochee
Favorite healthy food: Balance Go Mix
One indulgence: Outback Steakhouse cheese fries
Your athletic advice: Remember to have fun while you train and
race. It's easy to get caught up in the competition and forget to enjoy
yourself and your teammates. Racing, like life, is about the journey, not the destination.
Athletic goal(s) for 2005: Finish every race happy and healthy...and
a top 10 finish at the Adventure Racing World Championships in
New Zealand would be nice.
Other hobbies: Swimming, orienteering and sleeping.
Favorite part of Atlanta Sports & Fitness Magazine: The event calendar listings, of course!
